How To Tune Graphics So Your Phone Survives The Day
Most mobile games ship with graphics cranked higher than your phone needs. The first thing I do in any new game is dive into settings and knock the frame rate down to a locked value, usually 30 or 60. An unlocked frame rate is a battery killer and you rarely notice the difference on a small screen.
Next, look for a resolution or render scale option. Dropping it a notch is almost invisible during play but makes a real dent in heat and drain. Turning off heavy effects like bloom, motion blur, and dynamic shadows helps too, and honestly some games look cleaner without them.
Screen brightness is the biggest lever of all, and it lives outside the game. Auto-brightness plus a slightly dimmer default will stretch your session more than any in-game toggle.
None of this ruins the experience. Test it during one session, compare how warm the phone gets, and keep whatever settings still feel good to you.
