Emberfall Oath is the kind of RPG I didn't expect to sink twenty hours into on a phone. The combat is turn-based, which suits touch controls perfectly, and the party banter kept me reading dialogue I'd normally skip. Your choices actually shift how companions treat you, and that made me replay a couple of chapters.
The menus can get busy, and the early skill trees are a wall of icons, but once it clicks you feel clever building your team. There's an auto-battle for grinding that I appreciated when my thumbs were tired.
It's not a light download and it warms the phone during longer fights, so I kept the frame rate on the medium setting. Worth it for the story alone.
