Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a slow-burn adventure that trusts you to explore. You tap to move, tap to examine, and piece together what happened to a deserted town. The atmosphere is heavy in the best way, with sound design that I recommend headphones for.

Puzzles lean logical rather than obtuse, and a gentle hint system stops you getting stuck for too long. I finished the main story in a weekend and thought about it afterward, which is high praise for a mobile game.

It runs light and barely touched my battery, so it's a great pick for travel.
